Between Saturday, Oct. 17, and Friday, Oct. 23, the Barnesville police department made six arrests:Emanuel Battiste, 2640 Lilac Dr., Morrow, possession of alcohol under age and giving false name to law enforcement officer; Travis Colquitt, P.O. Box 305, Meansville, probation violation;Quentin Foster, 130 Park Place, Barnesville, simple battery;Jamerica Freeman, 1951 Wood Lot Tr., Lithonia, disorderly conduct;Mekisha Harden, 130 Park Place, Barnesville, simple battery;Kyle Johnstone, 392 Gables Dr., Barnesville, failure to appear.Officers answered 103 calls for service including seven accidents, six alarms, two EMS assists, 13 building security checks, one burglary, two crowd control, two damage to property, two domestics, one entering auto, 17 escorts, two fights, two fraud, one harassment, one juvenile complaint, 14 miscellaneous, six noise complaints, two prowlers, one shoplifting, one shots fired, four suspicious persons/vehicles, four terroristic threats, seven thefts and three welfare checks. They issued 17 citations including one disorderly conduct, one expired tag, one failure to stop at stop sign, one giving false name to law enforcement officer, one possession of alcohol under age, two simple batteries and nine speeding.
