Police report

Between Monday, February 20 and Friday, February 24 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Donna Harper, 49, 106 2nd Street, Thomaston, theft by taking;Cathy Hamlett, 52, 115 Carey Buckner Drive, Barnesville, possession of drug related object, possession or manufacturing of certain controlled substance, drugs not in original container and DUI.There were 115 calls for service including: one fight, one animal complaint, one juvenile, 34 security checks, three thefts, one criminal trespass, one burglary, five domestics, six foot patrols, 15 suspicious persons; two speeding vehicles, one ambulance needed, three escorts, six alarms, one fire and one damage to property.They issued 26 citations including: one expired tag, two no license on person, one expired driver’s license, seven speeding, one failure to use turn signals, one one way traffic, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to stop at stop sign, three headlight violations, five seat belt violations and one no thru trucks.
