Police report

Between Friday, February 24 and Friday, March 3 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Frederick Walker, 23, 177 Perdue Road, Barnesville, probation violation and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; Thomas Lyons, 19, 907 Willow Wind Circle, Barnesville, criminal trespass; Daraus Myles, 44, 407 Westchester Drive, Barnesville, warrant from another agency; Willie Jones, 34, 878 Veterans Parkway, Room 117, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and disorderly; Lee Warrington, 33, 300 Windsweep Farm Road, Thomaston, tag light violation and driving on suspended license; Candice Weldon, 46, 230 Atlanta Street, Barnesville, no proof of insurance and driving on suspended license. There were 179 calls for service including: 62 security checks, three thefts, one loud music, four burglaries, five domestics, one subject with firearm, 11 foot patrols, 14 suspicious persons/vehicles, one suicide or attempt, five accidents, four escorts, 13 alarms, four damage to property and one unwanted person. They issued 33 citations including: one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, two driving on suspended licenses, one no license on person, two no proof of insurance, three failure to stop, four speeding, one failure to exercise due care, three failure to maintain lane, one following too closely, six headlight violations, one failure to dim lights, six seatbelt violation, one disorderly and one no thru trucks.
