Police report

Between Thursday, May 26 and Friday, June 2 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Edward Jones, 30, 313 B Carleeta Street, Barnesville, obstructing law enforcement officers, terroristic threats and acts and battery; Michael Stephens, 47, homeless, criminal trespass; Michael Urzi, 26, 1701 Old Atlanta Road, Griffin, failure to maintain lane and reckless driving. There were 90 calls for service including: two fights, three animal complaints, eight security checks, one loud music, two burglaries, 12 domestics, eight foot patrols, 10 suspicious persons/vehicles, one traffic light out, five accidents, two ambulances needed, eight escorts, five alarms, one damage to property and one unwanted person. They issued 14 citations including: one expired tag, one noise violation, two speeding, one reckless driving, six failure to stop, one failure to yield, one seat belt violation and one criminal trespass.
