Police report

Between Monday, February 5 and Monday, February 12 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Isiah Prioleau, 20, 172 Curtis Road, Zebulon, open container and possession or purchase of alcohol under 21; Mathew Bailey, 40, 318 Zebulon Street, Barnesville, driving on suspended license and no brake lights or working turn signals. There were 292 calls for service including: two fights, one animal complaint, one juvenile, 172 security checks, one shoplifting, one criminal trespass, five domestics, one fraud, five foot patrols, 13 suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicide/attempts, seven accidents, five escorts, one bond approval, one civil matter, four alarms, one fire, seven improperly parked vehicles and two wanted/stolen. They issued 43 citations including: one possession/purchase of alcohol under 21, two expired tags, one driving on suspended license, two driving without a license, one violation of license restrictions, one failure to maintain insurance, one noise violation, 13 speeding, two failure to obey traffic control device, one leaving motor vehicle unattended, one improper stopping/parking, one failure to use turn signals, one failure to maintain lane, three failure to stop, one headlight violation, one no brake lights, one no operating brake lights, one failure to dim headlights, five seat belt violations and one open container.
