Between Monday, April 9 and Monday, April 16 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Thomas Mattox, 45, 2419 Old Thompson Road, Gainesville, theft by conversion;Alvin Gray, 30, 5333 U.S. Highway 341 South, Barnesville, noise violation, open container, striking a fixed object, DUI, failure to maintain lane and obstruction;Chelse Christley, 34, 477 Herd Street, Flovilla, possession of methamphetamine, possession of MDMA schedule one controlled subtance, drugs not in original container and possession and use of drug related objects.They 117 calls for service including: three animal complaints, 55 security checks, two thefts, one loud music, two welfare checks, one domestic, 17 suspicious persons/vehicles, four accidents, two ambulance needed, three hit and runs, four escorts, one bond approval, one civil matter and three alarms.They issued 25 citations including: one cruelty to animals, one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one tag violation, one driving on suspended license, one operating with learner’s permit, one no license, one no insurance, one improper turn, one noise violation, five speeding, one open container, one striking a fixed object, two DUI’s, two following too closely, one failure to yield, two disorderly and one obstruction.
