Police report

Between Monday, August 13 and Monday, August 20 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Bryce Allen, 17, 637 Greenwood St., Barnesville, disorderly;Devonte Carr, 26, 3724 Page Hudson Drive, N.C., leaving the scene of an accident, 22 counts striking a fixed object and 14 counts criminal damage to property.There were 125 calls for service including: one fight, one animal complaint, 37 security checks, one theft, two shoplifting, two loud music, six domestics, four foot patrols, 15 suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicides or attempts, two accidents, one escort, six alarms, one damage to property, one harassing phone call and one improperly parked vehicle.They issued 23 citations including: one operating with learner’s permit, one no license on person, 15 speeding, one improper backing, one handsfree law, one failure to yield, one failure to stop and two disorderly.
