Police report

Between Monday, August 27 and Monday, September 10 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Cornelius Walker, 31, 306 Atlanta St., Barnesville, warrant; Labrica Cofield, 35, unknown address, warrant; Nick Garcia, 49, 123 Kate Ct., Apt. D, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked and failure to maintain lane; James Granum, 39, 864 Thomaston St., Barnesville, criminal trespass and obstruction. There were 228 calls for service including: two fights, six animal complaints, 64 security checks, two thefts, one welfare check, one burglary, eight domestic, 39 suspicious persons/vehicles, one suicide/attempt, nine accidents, one hit and run, one escort, 15 alarms, one missing person, three damage to property, one harassing phone call and three wanted/stolen. They issued 42 citations including: one criminal trespass, one expired tag, two driving while license suspended or revoked, one no license on person, one too fast for conditions, 20 speeding, one striking a fixed object, one reckless driving, one driving on the wrong side of the road, two failure to maintain lane, two following too closely, one failure to stop, one no tail lights, one headlight violation, one no operating brake lights, one failure to dim headlights, one seat belt violation, two criminal trespass and one obstruction.
