Police report

Between Monday, September 24 and Monday, October 8 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Amy M. Williams, 30, 157 Tussahaw Point Dr., Jackson, move over law and driving while license suspended or revoked; Tiffany Barkley, 27, 103 N. 14th St., Griffin, driving on a one way street, giving false name to officer and driving without a license; Chase Ellington, 34, 165 Burnette Rd., Barnesville, possession of methamphetamine, crossing the guardline with weapon or drugs and criminal trespass; Annie Traylor, 59, 116 Carey J. Buckner, Barnesville, obstruction; Eduardo Martinez, 24, 5256 Downs Ln., Norcross, criminal trespass; Christopher McDowell, 26, 216 Blue Ridge Rd., Black Mountain, NC, driving while license suspended or revoked; Latrisha Grant, 21, 1203 Chase Ridge Rd., Riverdale, speeding, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, open container and driving while license suspended; Chanel Hardnett, 23, 3274 Sable Run Rd., College Park, obstruction, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, open container and reckless driving. There were 267 calls for service including: four fights, three animal complaints, 92 security checks, one shoplifting, one loud music, one open door, one entering an auto, four burglaries, 15 domestics, one subject with firearm, 20 suspicious persons/vehicles, nine speeding, seven accidents, two intoxicated persons, five escorts, two alarms, one damage to property and six stolen property. They issued 92 citations including: two obstructions, two possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one expired tag, four driving while license suspended or revoked, one driving without a license, one failure to maintain insurance, one improper turn, one failure to stop at railroad crossing, six move over law, 41 speeding, one hands free law, three open container, one striking unattended vehicle, two reckless driving, one passing in a no passing zone, one driving on a one way street, one failure to maintain lane, two failure to yield, nine failure to stop, one headlight violation, one tag light violation, one failure to dim headlights, one obstructed view, four seat belt violations, one giving false name to officer and one criminal trespass.
