Between Tuesday, October 30 and Monday, November 5 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Charlie Akins, 53, 133 Bush St., Barnesville, disorderly;Freddie Sims, 58, 145 Akins St., Barnesville, driving on a suspended license;Rashida Martin, 38, 699 Forsyth St., Apt. D38, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked and failure to stop;Jasmine Davis, 19, 6895 Bruce Cir., Lithonia, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Roy Tate, 56, 3688 Jessica Dr., Macon, driving while license suspended or revoked and seat belt violation;Shannda Lyons, 34, 2111 Hwy. 341 S., Yatesville, obstruction and criminal trespass.There were 136 calls for service including: one fight, four animal complaints, 44 security checks, four domestics, one subject with firearm, one foot patrol, 12 suspicious person/vehicles, one speeding, eight accidents, five alarms, one damage to property and five improperly parked vehicles.They issued 31 citations including: one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one tag not registered, one no tag, two expired tags, three driving while license suspended or revoked, one failure to maintain insurance, one no proof of insurance and one move over law.
