Police report

Between Friday, December 28 and Monday, January 7 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Shaniya Chambers, 24, 111 Sanders Ct., Barnesville, disorderly;Jacob Collier, 22, 930 S. McDonough Rd., Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and taillight violation.There were 275 calls for service including: two fights, 118 security checks, one theft, one burglary, 11 domestics, one stalkng, one stolen vehicle, three subjects with firearms, three foot patrols, 20 suspicious persons/vehicles, six accidents, one intoxicated driver, seven escorts, 16 alarms, two damage to property, one harassing phone call and one mental subject.They issued 18 citations including: one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one expired tag, eight speeding, two failure to stop, one headlight violation, one taillight violation, one no brakes, one seatbelt violation, one disorderly and one no thru trucks.
