Police report

Between Tuesday, January 8 and Monday, January 14 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Selvin White, 22, 1690 Ralph Ave. 3E, Brooklyn, NY, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Dontae McKenzie, 21, 1424 Fall River Dr., Conyers, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Tafari Felix, 22, 1357 85th St., Brooklyn, NY, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Barry Osborne, 35, P.O. Box 373, Barnesville, warrant out of Spalding County; Douglas Curry, 18, 1457 Venetian Dr., SW, Atlanta, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Nikitia Dent, 31, 932 Tharpe Rd., Musella, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Christopher Smith, 45, 108 1/2 B St., Barnesville, DUI and violation of conditions of permit. There were 208 calls for service including: three fights, three animal complaints, 78 security checks, one theft, one forgery, one welfare check, four burglaries, one kidnapping, seven domestics, three foot patrols, 11 suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicide/attempts, three speeding, eight accidents, one intoxicated pedestrian, one hit and run, nine alarms, two drug traffic, one damage to property and one harassing phone call. They issued 37 citations including: six less than an ounce of marijuana, one no registered tag, one no tag, two expired tags, one driving while license suspended or revoked, one violation of conditions of permit, three move over law, 16 speeding, one non handsfree, one open container, one DUI, one failure to stop, one no brakes and one no thru trucks.
