Between Monday, February 11 and Monday, February 18 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Robert Rutherford, 23, 202 Carleeta St., Barnesville, battery; Jontavious McFadden, 28, 119 Thurman St., Griffin, obstructing law enforcement officers and damage to property; Antonio Chapman, 30, 301 Elm St., Barnesville, probation violation. They answered 183 calls for service including: one fight, four animal complaints, two juveniles, 37 security checks, 15 domestics, seven foot patrols, 11 suspicious persons/vehicles, one suicide/attempt, one speeding, seven accidents, four escorts, 10 alarms, three damage to property, one improperly parked vehicle and one wanted/stolen. They issued 17 citations including: one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one abandonment of dangerous drugs, poisons or controlled substance, one violation of license restrictions, five speeding, one handsfree law, one DUI, two failure to maintain lane, three failure to stop, one headlight violation and one seatbelt violation.
