Police report

Between Monday, March 18 and Monday, March 25 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Shyneece Roach, 20, 156 Deerfield Tr., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession/purchase of alcohol under 21, obstruction, tampering with evidence and open container;Kendra Strickland, 34, 50 E. Lake Cr., Griffin, battery, reckless conduct causing harm, stalking and criminal trespass;Benjamin Akins, 43, 143 Holly Grove Rd., Barnesville, disorderly;Michael Gladney, 30, 333 S. 12th St., Apt. B., Griffin, obstruction;Tyrone Wilson, no age given, 651 Iris Lake Rd., McDonough, warrant out of Jones County.There were 155 calls for service including: three fights, one animal complaint, 30 security checks, one theft, one burglary, six domestics, three foot patrols, 25 suspicious persons/vehicles, five accidents, one intoxicated pedestrian, one hit and run and nine alarms.They issued 19 citations including: one no tag, one failure to maintain insurance, one improper lane change, one failure to stop at railroad crossing, six speeding, two failure to stop, one headlight violation, five seat belt violations and one open container.
