Police report

Between Monday, April 15 and Monday, April 22 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Sergio Hernandez, 22, 200 Southland Dr., Apt. C-6, Barnesville, no license and failure to stop; Deantrez Thompson, 28, P.O. Box 882, Barnesville, driving on suspended license; Floyd Richardson, 27, 122 Pritchett Cir., Barnesville, driving on suspended license and no brake lights or working turn signals; Otis Madison, 64, 130 S. Jefferson St., Ashburn, driving while license suspended or revoked, operating a commercial vehicle without a valid license, failure to secure load, no thru trucks and expired tag. There were 175 calls for service including: two animal complaints, 37 security checks, two thefts, one shoplifting, one burglary, eight domestics, 21 suspicious persons/vehicles, 15 speeding, seven accidents, five alarms, two drug traffic, one fire and one damage to property. They issued 69 citations including: four driving on suspended license, one operating a commercial vehicle without valid license, one driving without a license, one no license, one no insurance, two move over law, 39 speeding, one running a red light, one hands free law, one failure to secure load, three failure to stop, one no tail lights, one headlight violation, one tag light violation, no brake lights or working turn signals, three disorderly, one obstruction, one theft by taking, one no thru trucks, one tag registration, one use of tag to conceal identity and two expired tags.
