Between Tuesday, June 18 and Monday, June 24 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Christopher Hughley, 32, 512 Thomaston St., Barnesville, disorderly; Tony Brown, 46, 366 Liberty Hill Rd., Milner, theft by shoplifting; Lervictor Walker, 46, 152 Mill St., Barnesville, battery, discharging firearm in city limits and disorderly conduct. There were 110 calls for service including: three fights, one animal complaint, nine security checks, three thefts, one welfare check, nine domestics, six foot patrols, 13 suspicious persons/vehicles, three accidents, one intoxicated driver, four escorts, eight alarms and two fires. They issued 21 citations including: one possession of drug related objects, one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, two no tags, one operating with learner’s permit, two expired driver’s license, six speeding, one failure to stop, one failure to yield, one seat belt violation, one theft by shoplifting, one simple battery, two disorderly and one discharging firearms in city limits.
