Between Tuesday, June 25 and Monday July 1 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Xavier Weldon, 21, 656 Forsyth St., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and seatbelt violation; Preston Moore, 61, 108 11th St., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Timothy Hodges, 37, 150 Merrybrook Rd., Williamson, driving on suspended license; Jalisa Johnson, 27, 201 Lee St., Barnesville, driving on suspended license and seatbelt violation; Kristopher Jackson, 28, 906 Forsyth-Yatesville Rd., Yatesville, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana. There were 146 calls for service. They issued 45 citations including: one no license on person, one violation of conditions of permit, one failure to maintain insurance, one improper turn, one move over law, seven speeding, one handsfree law, one DUI, one wrong way, four failure to maintain lane, one following too closely, seven failure to stop, one headlight violation, six seatbelt violations, one disorderly house, one criminal trespass, one littering, one possession of marijuana, three tag violations and three driving while license suspended or revoked.
