Between Monday, July 8 and Monday, July 15 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Jose Duran-Hernandez, 63, 1007 Griffin Crossing Apt. 1007, Griffin, violation of conditions of permit and open container;Nathan Reynolds, 28, 169 Howard Rd., Barnesville, theft by receiving stolen property;Jacob Clark, 20, 183 Midway Rd., Barnesville, driving on suspended license;Cordelia Slaughter, 21, 120 Cherry St., Barnesville, diving without a license;Isiah Gates, 31, 10 Quarry Ct., Covington, driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding. They answered 196 calls for service.They issued 69 citations including: one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, two tag registration, five expired tag, four driving on suspended license, one driving without a license, one operating without a learner’s permit, two violation of conditions of permit, one no insurance, one driving with suspended tag, one move over law, 21 speeding, one running red light, two handsfree law, one leaving the scene of an accident, one DUI, four failure to maintain lane, one driving on wrong side of road, one passing in a no passing zone, one failure to yield, two failure to stop, one tag light violation, two failure to dim headlights, one window tint violation, four seat belt violations, two open container, one theft by receiving stolen property and one no thru trucks.
