Police report

Between Monday, August 12 and Monday, August 19 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Shelita Mitchell, 30, 191 Deerfield Trce., Barnesville, expired tag and driving while license suspended;Aaron Watts, 26, 122 E. Jones St., Molena, speeding, running a red light, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, DI, failure to maintain lane and fleeing and attempting to elude.They answered 226 calls for service including: one fight, 10 animal complaints, 42 security checks, one prowler, one burglary, 11 domestics, 10 foot patrols, 16 suspicious persons/vehicles, 12 accidents, 12 alarms and one damage to property. They issued 26 citations including: one animal running at large, five expired tags, one driving on suspended license, one no license on person, two driving with suspended tag, five speeding, three hands free law, one reckless driving, two failure to maintain lane, one failure to yield, three failure to stop, one no operating brake lights.
