Between Tuesday, August 27 and Monday, September 9 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Carolyn Shirley, 57, 156 Grove St., Barnesville, driving on suspended license;Jamorris Cole, 33, 304 Parker Branch Rd., Barnesville, disorderly;Marcal Knolton, 21, 699 Forsyth St., Musella, criminal trespass;Freddy Arther, 55, 304 Olivia Ln., Barnesville, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident;Victor Grier, 37, 382 Wolf Creek Rd., Jenkinsburg, giving false name to officer;Justin Dobbins, 23, 127 Country Meadows Way, Jenkinsburg, speeding and DUI;Warren T. Johnson, 43, 29 Lee St., Barnesville, aggravated assault.There were 376 calls for service including: two fights, one fireworks, one theft, one shoplifting, one loud music, two prowlers, two burglaries, 25 domestics, one speeding, 11 accidents, one hit and run, seven alarms, two fires, three damage to property and one harassing phone call.They issued 74 citations including: one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one no tag, nine expired tags, one driving on suspended license, one driving without a license, four no license on person, two failure to maintain insurance, one improper turn, one improper lane change, three driving with suspended tag, two move over law, one too fast for conditions, 13 speeding, one failure to stop, eight hands free law, one laying drag, one leaving the scene of an accident, one reckless driving, one DUI, one passing in a no passing zone, one failure to yield, nine failure to stop, one failure to dim headlights, four seatbelt violations, one giving false name to officer, one disorderly, one criminal trespass and two no thru trucks.
