Police report

Between Monday, October 14 and Monday, October 20 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Brandon Greene, 22, 103 Ward Dr., Barnesville, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, no license on person, handsfree law and seatbelt violation; Jeremy Wall, 25, homeless, criminal trespass; James Granum, 40, 864 Thomaston St., Barnesville, improper parking and disorderly; William Oglesby, 36, 618 Spencer St., Barnesville, theft by shoplifting. There were 364 calls for service including: one fight, two dead, two animal complaints, 79 security checks, three thefts, one criminal trespass, one burglary, 7 domestics, one subject with firearm, 30 suspicious persons/vehicles, one speeding, six accidents, one hit and run, eight escorts, two civil matters, one alarm, one drug traffic, three damage to property and one harassing phone call. They issued 13 citations including: one driving on suspended license, one speeding, one improper parking, one handsfree law, three DUI’s, one failure to maintain lane, one improper passing, one failure to yield, one theft by shoplifting, one disorderly and one criminal trespass.
