Police report

Between Saturday, Jan. 9, and Friday, Jan. 15, the Barnesville police department made seven arrests: Marquel Braswell, 589 Macon Rd., Reynolds, disorderly conduct;  Damian Davis, 500 Cabiness Rd., Forsyth, possession of marijuana; Kendrick Davis, 175 Bentley Dr., Forsyth, possession of marijuana; Larry Lewis, 130 N. Frontage Rd., Forsyth, possession of marijuana and tail light violation; Detric McDougal, 500 Cabiness Rd., Forsyth, possession of marijuana; Tara Raines, 75 Doe Run, Thomaston, theft by shoplifting; Christopher Steiner, no address given, Griffin, Spalding County warrant. Officers answered 91 calls for service including six accidents, four alarms, one EMS assist, 24 building security checks, one burglary, one crowd control, three damage to property, two disturbances, two domestics, 16 escorts, one fraud, one gas drive off, one juvenile complaint, nine miscellaneous, one noise complaint, three prowlers, one shoplifting, eight suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threat, three thefts and two 911 hang-ups. They issued 24 citations including one defective equipment, one disorderly conduct, one driving one way on a wrong way street, four failure to stop at stop sign, four possession of marijuana, one reckless driving, one red light violation, two seat belt violations, one shoplifting and eight speeding.
