Police report

Between Monday, April 27 and Monday, May 4 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Dorlisa Ellerby, 41, 210 Jackson St., Barnesville, aggravated assault;Christopher Smith, 46, 108 1/2 B. St., Barnesville, aggravated assault and damage to property.They answered 286 calls for service including: one fight, three animal complaints, 148 security checks, two thefts, one loud music, one prowler, five burglaries, 17 domestics, 18 foot patrols, 20 suspicious persons/vehicles, one speeding, seven accidents, one intoxicated driver, nine escorts, five alarms, one 911 hangups and one unwanted person.They issued 20 citations including: one shoplifting, two expired tags, one driving while license suspended or revoked, on failure to use signal, two noise violations, two speeding, one running red light, one handsfree law, six failure to stop, on headlight violation, one failure to dim headlights and one loitering.
