Between Monday, May 4 and Monday, May 11 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Joshua Miller, 27, 335 Edna Dr., Stockbridge, two counts DUI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and striking a fixed object;Jarvis Akins 37, 400 Holmes St., Barnesville, probation violation.They answered 277 calls for service including: one fight, three animal complaints, 87 security checks, two burglaries, six domestics, 33 foot patrols, five speeding, nine accidents, two intoxicated driver, four hit and run, 11 alarms, three fires, one alarm and one unwanted person.They issued 52 citations including: one public indecency, one littering, one tag violation, four expired tags, one operating with learners’ permit, one failure to maintain insurance, one failure to use signal, one noise violation, one move over law, 14 speeding, two handsfree law, three leaving the scene of the accident, one striking a fixed object, one reckless driving, four DUI’s, two failure to maintain lane, six failure to stop, one headlight violation, one tag light violation, one spotlight, two seatbelt violations, one loud music and one littering.
