Between Saturday, Jan. 23, and Friday, Jan. 29, the Barnesville police department made five arrests:Hazel Bundrum, 215 Sudduth Rd., Barnesville, DUI;Angela Cardy, 101 Spring Cir. B-6, Barnesville, false report of a crime;Bryant Ellison, 6 Jessica St., Butler, driving while license suspended;Steven West, 550 Mill St., Barnesville, theft by shoplifting;Marcus Williams, 103 11th St., Barnesville, battery, aggravated stalking and criminal trespass.Officers answered 99 calls for service including four accidents, one assault, one battery, 22 building security checks, four damage to property, seven disturbances, two dog complaints, six domestics, 20 escorts, one fraud, one harassment, one illegal dumping, one juvenile complaint; nine miscellaneous, six noise complaints, one prowler, one reckless driving, one shoplifting, one suicide attempt, three suspicious persons/vehicles, three thefts, one traffic control and two welfare checks. They issued 25 citations including one animal control violation, one defective equipment, one driving while license suspended, one DUI, two expired tag, one failure to stop at stop sign, one false report of a crime, one loud music, one no insurance, one no license on person, eight parking violations, one seat belt violation, one shoplifting, three speeding and one window tint violation.
