Between Monday, May 11 and Monday, May 18 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Jacob Moyer, 26, 498 Fredonia Church Rd., Barnesville, forgery and theft by deception;Johnny Minyard, 40, 346 Forsyth St., A-1, Barnesville, possession of methamphetamine, disorderly conduct and obstruction;Christian Brown, 29, 358 N. McKibben St., Jackson, disorderly;Tabatha Long, 36, 152 Woodward Ln., Jackson, theft by taking;Matthew Hill, 35, 154 Liz Acres Rd., Barnesville, theft by taking;Johnny Wright, 67, 126 Holmes St., Barnesville, making false report of a crime and disorderly conduct.There were 235 calls for service including: three fights, two animal complaints,100 security checks, five thefts, one burglary, nine domestics, 31 suspicious persons/vehicles, one suicide/attempt, two accidents, one hit and run, three escorts, 19 alarms and two damage to property.They issued 20 citations including: two theft by taking, two no tag, two expired tag, one failure to use signal, one move over law, one speeding, two handsfree law, one failure to stop, one headlight violation, one no brake lights, one making false report of a crime, one disorderly, two disorderly, and two obstruction.
