Between Monday, June 1 and Sunday, June 7 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Shannon Barfield, 36, 262 Green Forest Rd., Yatesville, driving on suspended license and improper tag;Alicia Levett, 34, 320 Veterans Dr., Apt. M1, Thomaston, simple battery;Amani Ross, 19, 140 Avenue G, Thomaston, expired tag, racing on highways or streets and reckless driving;Joshua Brewer, 19, 109 W. County Rd., Apt. 3E, Thomaston, racing on highways or streets and reckless driving.There were 238 calls for service including: three fights, three animal complaints, 90 security checks, three thefts, one burglary, nine domestics, 28 foot patrols, 21 suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicide/attempts, four accidents, one escort, seven alarms and one chase.They issued 27 citations including: one tag violation, one concealing tag, two no tags, one expired tag, one driving on suspended license, one driving without a license, one wrong class of license, one no license on person, one no insurance, one failure to maintain insurance, one driving with suspended tag, five speeding, two racing on streets or highways, two reckless driving, one failure to stop, one failure to yield to pedestrian at crosswalk, one tag light violation, one window tint violation, one simple battery and one criminal trespass.
