Police report

Between Monday, June 8 and Monday, June 15 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:Edwin Evans, 62, 385 Weldon Lake Rd., Milner, disorderly;Jonathan Bentley, 17, 221 Cherokee Dr., Barnesville, reckless driving, speeding and tire violations;Joel Yevick, 41, 594 School Rd., Hampton, DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.They answered 194 calls for service including: 65 security checks, two thefts, one prowler, one welfare check, six domestics, 16 suspicious persons/vehicles, one speeding, 12 accidents, two intoxicated driver, two intoxicated pedestrian, one escort, seven alarms, four damage to property and two harassing phone calls. They issued 21 citations including: one possession of alcohol under age, one expired tag, one expired driver’s license, one driving with suspended tag, eight speeding, two reckless driving, one DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one tag light violation, one light violation, one driving unsafe/improperly equipped vehicle, one tire violation and one disorderly.
