Police report

Between Saturday, Feb. 6, and Friday, Feb. 12, the Barnesville police department made nine arrests: Le’Jarvis Evans, 574 Chappell Mill Rd., Barnesville, failure to appear; Terry Harp, 850 Mt. Zion Rd., Jonesboro, DUI; Latoya Jackson, 13A Chestnut St., Griffin, possession of marijuana; Brice Lee, 6529 Sinclair Place, Morrow, failure to appear; Brian Lemieux, 228 Yardsley Dr., Barnesville, driving while license suspended; Lewis Meurell, homeless, Atlanta, false report of a crime; Freddie Rayson, 120 Jimmerson Rd., Thomaston, failure to appear; Ricky Roland 144 Main St., Milner, DUI and failure to maintain lane; Jerrel Walker, 112B B St., Barnesville, possession of marijuana., Officers answered 97 calls for service including six accidents, 10 alarms, two EMS assists, 26 building security checks, one child abuse, two crowd control, one damage to property, two disturbances, four domestics, 16 escorts, one fraud, two harassment, six miscellaneous, one prowler, one suicide attempt, 11 suspicious persons/vehicles, two thefts, one traffic control, one welfare check and one 911 hang-up. They issued 88 citations including one defective equipment, one disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, two DUI, three expired tag, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to stop at stop sign, one improper passing, two no insurance, two possession of marijuana, one no license on person, 29 parking violations, one passing in a no passing zone, two seat belt violations, 36 speeding, one suspended registration and three window tint violations.
