Police report

During Monday, August 3 and Monday, August 17 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Jeremy Wall, 25, 699 Forsyth St., Barnesville, reckless conduct, cruelty to children and battery; Dawn Wilson, 44, 722 Thomaston St., Barnesville, disorderly; Jacob Standridge, 27, 608 Spencer St., Barnesville, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects; Christopher Starnes, 25, 101 Hayes Ln., Rex, possession of meth; Haley McNaughton, 20, 773 Veterans Pkwy., Barnesville, possession of meth and possession of drug related objects; Michael Johnson, 47, 132 Johnson Rd., Lot 2, Barnesville, warrant out of Barnesville; Telisha Hayes, 39, 430 Peeble Blvd., Covington, stalking; Nathan Reynolds, 29, 414 Collier Rd., Barnesville, probation violation. They answered 462 calls for service including one loud music, two burglaries, three fights, eight animal complaints, 131 security checks, three thefts, two welfare checks, 19 domestics, 67 foot patrol, 54 suspicious person/vehicle, six speeding, 11 accidents, one hit and run, 11 escorts, two civil matters, 13 alarms, three fires, six damage to property, one mental subject and one harassing phone call. They issued 35 citations including four possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one criminal trespass, three expired tag, one expired driver’s license, nine speeding, one failure to obey traffic control device, one failure to maintain insurance, one improper stopping/parking on roadway, five failure to stop/yield, two tag light violation, two disorderly, one no headlights, one no brakes, one window tint violation, one no thru trucks and one public drunk.
