Police report

Between Monday, August 17 and Monday, August 24 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Ericka Mathis, 44, 122 Pritchett Cir., Barnesville, battery and cruelty to children; Shakevia Beckham, 23, 709 Ann St., Griffin, giving false name to officer and driving without a license; Daniel Nicholson, 38, 387 Piedmont Rd., Barnesville, driving on suspended license; Ramirez Cesar, 33, 18626 Abondale, Adelanto, CA, DUI and open container; Otilia Allen, 36, 413 Atlanta St., Barnesville, disorderly; Alicedonia Jones, 26, 413 Atlanta St., Barnesville, disorderly; Alford Ewing, 49, 22 Jackson St., Barnesville, driving on suspended license and probation violation; Roshunda Shaw, 37, 419 Morgan Dairy Rd., Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked; Christian Thompson, 18, 985 Hickory Ridge Dr., Macon, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, open container and possession of drug related objects; Demonta Troutman, 18, 3379 Fairburn Ave., Macon, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, possession and use of drug related objects, expired tag, operating with learner’s permit and open container; Christopher Smith, 46, 122 Pritchett Cir., Barnesville, battery and cruelty to children; Kishara Barrett, 32, 223 Birdie Rd., Griffin, DUI. There were 168 calls for service including: one fight, 51 security checks, two burglary, seven domestic, one subject with firearms, 15 foot patrols, 28 suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicide/attempts, two speeding, five accidents, three escorts, five alarms four damage to property and one mental subject. They issued 42 citations including: one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, five tag violations, three driving while license suspended or revoked, two driving without a license, two wrong class of driver’s license, two operating with learner’s permit, two no license on person, one improper u-turn, one driving with suspended tag, two speeding, two DUI, one one-way road, one headlight violation, six seat belt violations, one operating unauthorized vehicle with blue lights, one loud music, one open container, one theft by shoplifting, three giving false name to officer and four disorderly.
