Police report

Between Monday, February 1 and Monday, February 8 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests:John Talley, 59, 513 N. 13th St., Griffin, leaving the scene of an accident, two counts DUI and failure to yield;Kaleb Welch, 24, 204A Holmes St., Barnesville, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine and criminal trespass.There were 293 calls for service including: one fight, three animal complaints, 133 security checks, three thefts, three welfare checks, 15 domestics, 13 suspicious persons/vehicles, 11 accidents, 20 alarms, one fire, two damage to property and two mental subjects.They issued 15 citations including: three expired tags, one no insurance, three speeding, one leaving the scene of an accident, two DUI’s, one failure to maintain lane, one following too closely, one failure to yield, one failure to stop and one no tail lights.
