Police Report

Between Saturday, Feb. 20, and Friday, Feb. 26, the Barnesville police department made five arrests:Domonique Barber, 261 Meadowwood Dr., Lithonia, probation violation; Levi Brooks, 130 Park Place, Barnesville, probation violation;Latrice Evans, 102 Lyons St., Barnesville, no insurance, expired tag and suspended registration;Tommy Neal, 2080 Swint Rd., Griffin, violation of license restrictions, loud music and seat belt violation;Brittany Walker, 206 Jackson St., Barnesville, no insurance and suspended registration.Officers answered 88 calls for service including three accidents, two alarms, four EMS assists, two auto thefts, 23 building security checks, two crowd control, four damage to property, two disturbances, one domestic, 16 escorts, one fraud, two harassment, nine miscellaneous, three noise complaints, one prowler, one robbery, one suicide attempt, seven suspicious persons/vehicles, three thefts and one 911 hang-up. They issued 51 citations including one expired tag, one failure to dim head lights, three failure to stop at stop sign, one failure to yield, four loud music, three no insurance, four no license on person, seven parking violations, eight seat belt violations, 13 speeding, two suspended registration, three violation and one window tint.
