Between Saturday, July 9, and Monday, July 18, the Barnesville police department made eight arrests:Warren Johnson Jr., no age given, 304 Parker Branch Rd., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Mickey Youngblood, 54, 579 Tommy Purse Rd., Reynolds, DUI and striking a fixed object;Christian Couch, 19, 519 Bush Rd., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and defective equipment;Antonio Garcia, 18, 4376 St. Michael’s Dr., SW, Lilburn, driving while license suspended and tag light violation;Reco Watson, 30, 9th St., Barnesville, Lamar and Spalding County warrants;Kenneth Gardner, 20, 116 Houston St., Barnesville, possession of marijuana, open container, possession of alcohol under age, in park after hours and alcohol in recreation area;Lucas Bryan, 19, 719 High Falls Park Rd., Barnesville, reckless driving, speeding and failure to stop at stop sign;Gary Nichols, 27, 695 Atlanta St., Barnesville, driving while license suspended and giving false name to a law enforcement officer.Officers answered 46 calls including, two thefts, two loud music, two criminal trespass, one domestic, three 911 hangup, 24 suspicious persons, vehicles, two accidents, three DUI, one hit and run, three alarms and three harassing phone call. They issued 25 citations including one disorderly conduct, two possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, two expired tags, two driving while license suspended or revoked, one no license on person, one Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, four speeding, one striking fixed object, one reckless driving, one DUI, one failure to stop at stop or yield sign, one tail light violation, one brake light or turn signal violation, one possession of alcohol under age, one open container, one giving false name to officer, one alcohol in recreation area and one in park after hours.
