Between Friday, Aug. 12, and Friday, Aug. 19, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Anthony Feliciano, 19, 230 Glynshire Court, Covington, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Derrick Jackson Jr., 17, 230 Glynshire Court, Covington, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Jahqui Dunlap, 20, 2506 Barhamville Rd., Columbia, S.C., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Charles McMillian, 49, 209 Redbud Dr., Barnesville, DUI alcohol less safe; Marcie McDaniel, 40, 5044 W. Ellis Rd., Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked and DUI. Officers answered 70 calls for service including two fights, one juvenile complaint, one fireworks, one littering, two burglaries, six domestics, 34 foot patrols, nine suspicious persons/vehicles, two speeding, six accidents, eight escorts, two alarms, two damage to property and three 911 hangups. They issued 27 citations including three less than an ounce of marijuana, one driving while license suspended or revoked, two no license on person, four speeding, one running red light, one reckless driving, three DUIs, one following too closely, one failure to yield, four failure to stop, one no tail lights, one no brake lights or turn signals, one window tint violation, one disorderly house and two loitering.
