Police Report

Between Saturday, Sept. 17, and Friday, Sept. 23, the Barnesville police department made 10 arrests: Lacharles Benton, 30, 140 Shoemaker St., Jackson, criminal trespass; Jamie Saxton, 19, 725 Wimbish Rd., Macon, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Lawrence Gardner, 19, 275 Butler Bridge Dr., McDonough, DUI under age 21; Keslis Collier, 24, 322 Sims St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Arain Evans, 26, 327 Atlanta St., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Dontavious Foster, 26, 135 Bush Rd., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Brian Wilson, 36, 3060 Andrews Chapel Rd., Thomaston, shoplifting; Christopher Walker, 28, 394 Atlanta St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Christopher Fluellyn, 30, 399 Atlanta St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Kristopher Jackson, 20, 906 Forsyth-Yatesville Rd., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Officers answered 40 calls for service including one fight, two animal complaints, one loud music, one burglary, eight foot patrols, five suspicious persons/vehicles, nine speeding, two accidents, one hit and run, nine escorts and one damage to property. They issued 42 citations including five criminal trespass, one no license on person, one failure to maintain insurance, one improper turn, one noise violation, 10 speeding, one improper parking, one laying drag or reckless conduct with auto, one DUI, four wrong way on one way street, one failure to stop or yield, one window tint violation, one child safety seat violation, seven seat belt violations, two loud music, one false report of a crime and three disorderly conduct.
