Police Report

Between Friday, Nov. 18, and Friday, Dec. 2, the Barnesville police department made six arrests: Gregory Jackson, 18, 108 Curry St., Rochelle, resisting arrest and interfering with arrest; Candice Quick, 25, 318 Fawnbrook Cir., Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Corelle Wilson, 18, 134 Bush St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Thomas Brooks, 40, 116 12th St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Rashaad Banks, 21, 102 Park Place, Barnesville, DUI alcohol; Arlon Graves, 25, 272 Mill St., Barnesville, three counts criminal trespass and theft by taking. Officers answered 179 calls for service including three fights, four animal complaints, one juvenile complaint, one loud music, four welfare checks, four burglaries, seven domestics, 31 foot patrols, 16 suspicious persons/vehicles, one suicide attempt, 15 speeding, nine accidents, eight escorts, 20 alarms, two damage to property, one harassing phone call and one parking violation. They issued 53 citations including three disorderly conduct, one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one truck over height limit, one driving while license expired, two no license on person, 25 speeding, one impeding traffic, one failure to obey traffic control device, one DUI, two passing in a no passing zone, one failure to maintain lane, one following too closely, one headlight violation, one child safety seat violation, four seat belt violations, one open container, one disorderly house, four loitering and one resisting arrest.
