Between Friday, Dec. 9, and Friday, Dec. 16, the Barnesville police department made three arrests:Michael Owens, 32, 146 Ray Drive, Meansville, driving while license suspended/revoked, driving while under the influence, fleeing and attempting to elude, resisting arrest and failure to maintain lane;Larry Brown, 37, 106 Roger Brown Drive, Barnesville, driving while under the influence and striking fixed object;Candace Parker, 34, 200 Southland Drive A-4, Barnesville, aggravated assault and cruelty to children.Officers answered 50 calls for service including two subjects with firearms, 15 foot patrols, three suspicious persons/vehicles, three speeding, two accidents, one alarm, one drug traffic and two damage to property. They issued 18 citations including one driving while unlicensed or license expired, six speeding, one running red light, one DUI, one drugs less safe, one fleeing or attempting to elude, one failure to maintain lane, one seat belt violation, one disorgerly conduct and one resisting arrest.
