Between Sunday, Jan. 1, and Monday, Jan. 9, the Barnesville police department made nine arrests:Darrell McMullen, 20, 152 Akins St., Barnesville, resisting or interfering with arrest;Africa Davis, 33, 129 12th St., Barnesville, shoplifting;Terrick Wright, 20, 1344 Lower Falls Dr., McDonough, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Keith Jackson, 17, 7060 Duncan Walk, McDonough, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Bradley Jones, 21, 821 Ivey Park Lane, Norcross, sale, delivery or distribution of marijuana;Phillip Barrett, 22, 2662 N. McDonough Rd., Griffin, criminal trespass;Aaron Hartley, 20, 130 Tall Tree Lane, Jackson, resisting arrest and possession of alcohol under age;Gregory Allison, 20, 3090 Waynmanville Rd., Thomaston, possession of alcohol under age;Jasmine Colquitt, 23, 170 Stratmore Place, Stockbridge, possession of marijuana.Officers answered 65 calls for service including two animal complaints, two thefts, one shoplifting, four burglaries, five domestics, two stolen vehicles, eight foot patrols, four suspicious persons/vehicles, one suicide attempt, two speeding, four accidents, two escorts, five alarms, one drug traffic and one 911 hangup. They issued 27 citations including three possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one no license on person, one violation of license restrictions, two noise violations, five speeding, one following too closely, three seat belt violations, two possession of alcohol under age, one open container, one shoplifting, one disorderly house, one contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one criminal trespass.
