Police report

Between Friday, May 8, and Friday, May 15, the Barnesville police department made 10 arrests: Jimmie Brantley, 134 Camilla Dr., Forsyth, probation violation; Thomas Brooks, 116 12th St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Diane Gallespi, 106 Owens Lane, Barnesville, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and false report of a crime; Dee Glover, 231 Bush Rd., Barnesville, disorderly conduct and two counts cruelty to children; Bryon Hosley, 121 Main St., Milner, shoplifting; Virginia Jester, 101 Kate Ct., Barnesville, shoplifting; Warnette Johnson, 304 Parker Branch Rd., Barnesville, shoplifting; Ontarian Jones, 30, Cheves Road, Barnesville, criminal trespass; Kareem Morris, 3601 Mercer University Dr., Macon, failure to appear; Eddie Thomas, 113 Carriage Trace, Barnesville, simple battery. Officers answered 96 calls for service including four accidents, one EMS assist, 16 building security checks, two burglaries, one criminal trespass, one damage to property, 11 disturbances, three dog complaints, four domestics, 16 escorts, one fight, one fraud, one forgery, one harassment, three juvenile complaints, eight miscellaneous, three mislaid property, one missing person, four noise complaints, two shoplifting, seven suspicious persons/vehicles, one theft, three traffic control and one welfare check. They issued 18 citations including two criminal trespass, one defective equipment, one false report of a crime, one laying drag, one no insurance, two no license on person, one seat belt violation, three shoplifting, one simple battery, two speeding and one window tint.
