Police Report

Between Saturday, Jan. 28, and Friday, Feb. 3, the Barnesville police report made four arrests: Warren T. Johnson, 35, 304 Parker Branch Rd., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Bobby Roberts, 24, 305 Broyles Ave., Barnesville, simple battery and cruelty to children; Jyles Underwood, 28, 101 Hannah Court, Barnesville, driving while license suspended and failing to stop at stop sign; Jamorris A. Williams, 23, 103 11th St., Barnesville, driving while license suspended and speeding. Officers answered 117 calls for service including two fights, one animal complaint, seven security checks, one loud music, four burglaries, eight domestics, one crime in progress, 26 foot patrols, 16 suspicious persons/vehicles, three speeding, seven accidents, eight escorts, four alarms and one damage to property. They issued 22 citations including one cruelty to animals, one expired tag, two driving while license suspended or revoked, one no insurance, nine speeding, two following too closely, three failure to stop, one headlight violation, one loud music and one disorderly conduct.
