Police Report

Between Friday, Aug. 3, and Friday, Aug. 10, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Gerald Beach, 25, 124 Bradley Cir., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Ramonica Lockhart, 39, 309 Park Place, Thomaston, theft by shoplifting; Shandra Corbin, 40, 307 Park Place, Thomaston, shoplifting; Joshua Sumlin, 23, 504 Pineview Dr., 12B, Butler, giving false name to officer; Crawford Swint, 54, 347 Forsyth St., Apt. 4, Barnesville, disorderly conduct. Officers answered 99 calls for service including one fight, two thefts, two missing persons, two loud music, one welfare check, one burglary, seven domestics, one stolen vehicle, 21 foot patrols, four suspicious persons/vehicles, two accidents, 12 escorts, nine alarms, one drug traffic, one fire, one damage to property, one harassing phone call, one improper parking, two mental subjects and one wanted or stolen. They issued 24 citations including one driving with a suspended license, two noise violations, three speeding, three running a red light, one improper backing, two DUI, one improper passing, one failure to stop, one failure to yield, one tag light violation, one seat belt violation, one open container, two shoplifting, one giving false name and three disorderly conduct.
