Police report

Police report Between Friday, March 20, and Friday, March 27, the Barnesville police department made four arrests: Kelis Collier, 404 Holmes St., Barnesville, family violence simple assault and Barnesville and Lamar County warrants; Christopher High, 371 Spring Haven Ct., Jonesboro, possession of marijuana; Courtney Jackson, 2415 Vine St., Union City, possession of marijuana; Marchawn Pitts, 1080 Commons Ct., Barnesville, possession of marijuana. Officers answered 103 calls for service including seven accidents, three alarms, 25 building security checks, one burglary, two crowd control, two damage to property, three disturbances, two domestics, one entering an auto, 11 escorts, one fight, one hit and run, one juvenile complaint, 12 miscellaneous, four noise complaints, one prowler, one shoplifting, one shots fired, one stolen vehicle, 15 suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threats, five thefts and one 911 hang-up. They issued 13 citations including three loud music, one no license on person, one parking violation, three possession of marijuana, one reckless driving, one seat belt violation and three speeding.
