Candidates in upcoming city council votes in Barnesville and Milner have been invited to participate in a political forum Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Barnesville Civic Center. Invited are three Milner candidates running for two seats in a plurality vote. They are incumbents George Weldon and Roger Samples and Tracey Smallwood. Barnesville candidates are incumbent Mark Stone and challenger T.J. Imberger who are battling for the Ward 5 seat and incumbent Neal Devane and challenger Larry Whitworth who will fight it out in Ward 4.
