The rain played havoc with many schedules for the seven LC teams in the postseason playoffs. Here is an update briefing.LC DIAMOND TROJANS: Yesterday’s doubleheader here was rained out. The games were moved here due to field conditions at Therrell. Therrell’s fields were miraculously healed. LC plays a twin bill there today. The rubber game is Saturday.LC TENNIS: The Trojans and Lady Trojans lost at Elbert County, bringing their season to a close.LC TRACK: Both the Trojans and Lady Trojans swept the region meet. The sectionals are Saturday at Gordon Central High School in Calhoun.LADY TROJAN SOCCER: LC mercy ruled Therrell 11-0. They will play the Rabun Co. – Dade Co. winner in round two. That matchup was postponed to Saturday due to weather.TROJAN SOCCER: LC battles KIPP Academy today at 5:30 p.m. at Trojan Field. Weather should not be an issue.AREA TEAMS: In girls soccer action on a rainy Thursday night, the Pike Lady Pirates blasted Windsor Forest of Savannah 10-0; the MP Lady Bulldogs got by Cairo 6-3; and the Spalding Lady Jags routed Shaw of Columbus 8-0 in a monsoon rain.
