Some 9,690 property tax bills are being printed and checked in preparation for them to go out in the mail. ”They should be ready to go out this week,” said tax commissioner Andrea Anthony, who is double checking them before the mass mailing. “They’ll be mailed as soon as they’re printed.” In all, there are 9,312 real estate tax bills and 378 for personal property. ”Pre-bills for mobile homes will go out at the first of the year,” said appraiser Holly Patel of the assessor’s office. Taxes ‘“ both personal property and ad valorem ‘“ will be due on Nov. 30 this year. The tax digest totals $481 million with values frozen at 2008 levels. This will bring in a total of $12,710,414 in local city, county and school taxes.
