County landowners should have received property value assessments. All of them were mailed by May 24. The last day to file an appeal is July 8.
Appeals may be filed by letter or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also appeal in person at the office.
Appeals be based on homestead/special use exemption denials, uniformity or value.
You must choose among three appeal options. One is through the Board of Equalization with an appeal to superior court.
The other choices are arbitration or a hearing before a county officer.
