Pvt. Faulkner’s body arrives home Wednesday

The body of Pvt. Jeremy Faulkner of the 101st Airborne will arrive at Falcon Field in Peachtree City at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday. A motorcade escorting the body will leave the airfield at about 11:30 a.m. Citizens are encouraged to line the route the motorcade will take from the airfield to Cannon Cleveland Funeral Home in Stockbridge. The cortege will take Hwy. 74 to Hwy. 85 in Fayetteville then Highway 54 to McDonough Road through Lovejoy then McDonough – Jonesboro Rd. to downtown McDonough. From there it will take Hwy. 42 north to Stockbridge. Visitation will be held Friday at the funeral home but a time has not been announced. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tara Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Faulkner was one of six members of the 101st killed in Kunar Province in Afghanistan when their vehicle was hit by small arms fire. His mother, Judy Berry, works in operations for United Bank.
