Lamar County Schools athletic director Calvin Scandrett has announced that, not only will Friday’s football opener against Bleckley County be White Out Night, it will also be Rally Rag Night.The first 750 Trojan fans through the gate on the home side of Trojan Field will receive a free Rally Rag to wave during the game.The Rally Rags are being sponsored by Antioch Baptist Church, Big Chic, Calvary Baptist Church, East Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Garden Patch, Mitch’s Automotive, Pastime Grill, Rock Springs Church, Sardis Baptist Church, Slices Pizzeria, The Fish Platter, T-Shirts To Go and West Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.Tickets to the game, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m., are $7 at the gate but may be purchased in advance for $5 each at the high school from Wednesday through Friday.If you ordered your official White Out Night t-shirts you may pick those up at Trojan Field this Wednesday when the Lamar County Middle School opens its season against Henderson of Jackson at five o’clock.If you didn’t order an official shirt, wear something white Friday night and come out and support the Trojans by helping to shake down the thunder!
