A film crew will be in Lamar County Friday to shoot scenes for an upcoming episode of Sundance Television’s hit series ‘Rectify’. Scouts were in town Monday looking at locations, according to sheriff Brad White. Milner city manager Harold Wilson reported shooting will be done in Milner near Swint’s. Sheriff Brad White said scenes will also be shot in Barnesville at Huddle House. ’Rectify’ follows the fictional story of Daniel Holden who is released from prison after serving 19 years for the murder of his girlfriend when new DNA evidence comes to light. The first season of the show was shot primarily in Griffin. Shooting was done in Pike County last week. Check barnesville.com for updates.
